Formed in 2004, BroadSword Technologies is a team of independent consultants providing technical solutions to real estate developers serving multi-family, commercial, hospitality, and institutional markets, as well as Government and DoD clients. BroadSword provides Subject Matter Experts, Task Managers, and Project Managers on an as-needed basis to assist clients to cope with a wide range of technology-related matters.
Based in the National Capitol Region, BroadSword Technologies provides the core of our unique services to the DC metropolitan area. However, we have a nationwide presence to deliver support and solutions nationwide.

For more than 20 years, BroadSword has been filling the gaps between what the architect and MEP design and what is required to adapt a building to the needs of telecom service providers and low voltage solution integrators. BroadSword’s extensive experience over more than 100 projects working with carriers like Verizon, AT&T, Comcast, and others, allows us to anticipate what the Telecom Service Providers will deploy, how they will deploy it, and what infrastructure is required to support it. By augmenting the Architect’s designs, the client can capture costly elements early and avoid change orders later.
BroadSword has seen the common errors and omissions made by others with the traditional technology design approach. A substantial portion of our business comes from helping our clients to extricate themselves from those situations. While we would never hesitate to help a client out of a tight spot, we would much rather help our clients avoid them in the first place. The typical project cycle requires the project design team to begin the design effort many years before telecom & technology requirements are defined, therefore requiring developers to budget for the unknowns.
